Process

If you are involved in an accident, the first step you need to take is to communicate with the liable insurance company or person responsible for your accident. You will need to begin processing a claim with the insurance company, and you should be issued a claim number. Keep this claim number for your records. After this, you need to choose the shop that will be fixing your vehicle. If the vehicle is non-drivable, you need to have it towed to the repair facility of your choice.

If Broadway Ford Collision Repair is the repair facility you have chosen, you will first be greeted by someone in our office to help you with your damaged vehicle. One of our trained estimators will give you a FREE estimate and help you to answer any questions you may have. It generally takes about 15 minutes to have your vehicle inspected and to receive your estimate. Once you've decided to go through with the repair process, we will then order the parts needed for repairing your vehicle. It generally takes anywhere from 1 to 5 days to receive parts. You may either leave your vehicle here during the time of waiting for your parts, or you can drive your vehicle until the parts arrive. Usually if you leave your vehicle with us during that time, we will perform what we call a "Teardown", which is the process of where we inspect your vehicle for any unseen damages, so that additional parts may be ordered if necessary, minimizing the time your vehicle will be in our shop.

After your vehicles repairs are completed by our I-Car certified technicians, your car will then be inspected for any frame damage or alignment issues. Your car will then be refinished by one of our certified paint technicians, using a computerized paint matching system. Once your vehicle is painted, our technicians will reassemble your vehicle. After this your vehicle is immediately taken to our detail shop for a good wash, inside and out. When your car is returned to our body shop from the detail shop, our technicians will then complete a full inspection on your vehicle before you are notified that your vehicle is complete and ready to be picked up.

Our goal is to keep you informed throughout our repair process. An office staff member will notify you of any dates on the arrival of parts, when your car is going into the paint booths, when your car is finished in the paint booth, and of any delays that may arise during your cars stay in our body shop. You may also feel free to contact us at anytime with any questions you may have of your vehicle's repair process.
